Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us when you:

Sign-in goes through your Zaleo account (auth.zaleo.dev), the account shared by the Zaleo apps. Dawah receives your name, email and profile picture from it, and links them to your Dawah data. Your password, if you use one, stays with Zaleo Auth.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Process your transactions and manage your subscriptions
• Send you technical notices, updates, and support messages
• Respond to your comments and questions
• Analyze usage patterns to improve user experience
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats

Social Media Integration

When you connect your social media accounts to Dawah, we access only the permissions necessary to schedule and publish content on your behalf. We do not access your private messages, personal information, or any data beyond what is required for our service functionality. You can revoke these permissions at any time through your social media account settings.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. However, please note that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Islamic Content Authenticity

All Quranic verses, Hadith, and Islamic content provided through our platform are sourced from verified and authentic Islamic sources. We do not modify or alter any religious content. Scripture text is never generated by AI: when you use AI post generation, the AI only suggests references and drafts captions, every reference is checked against the sources, and the text itself is always fetched from them.

AI Post Generation

AI generation is optional and only runs when you ask for it. The description you type (plus your chosen caption language, time zone and today's date) is sent to an AI provider; we do not add your name, email, accounts or posts. Without your own key, the request goes to Google Gemini (free tier), or to Groq if Gemini is unavailable. Their free-tier terms apply, which may allow them to use prompts and outputs to improve their services, so don't include personal information in your description. If you add your own Anthropic, OpenAI or Google key in Settings, the request goes to that provider under your account and its API terms instead. Your key is stored encrypted, used only for your requests, and never shown again.
